Now what?
A live session with Karem Ospino on financial readiness: what it takes, and what it lets you do that you can’t do now.

You're Already Doing This Right
Most owners at your stage already have someone doing the books. The statements arrive on time, and they’re accurate.
But a statement tells you what happened. It doesn’t tell you why, or what to do next.
Monthly reporting and financial guidance are two different jobs. Most owners get the first and assume their financial pro will advise them. Then growth stalls, and nobody can say why.
What readiness actually gets you
Financial readiness is the difference between looking at numbers and being able to act on them.
- You can answer the question when someone asks you to prove the business works. A lender, an investor, a partner, a buyer. When that conversation comes, it comes with a deadline, and readiness is not something you can assemble in the two weeks you’re given.
- You can price your work and defend the price. Not what feels reasonable, but what the business actually needs to charge to keep going.
- You can hire before you’re desperate. Knowing whether you can carry the cost is a different question from whether you can afford it this month.
- You can tell a strong month from a lucky one. Which means you can tell which work to take more of, and which work is quietly costing you.
None of that guarantees growth. It removes the thing that’s been standing in front of it.
What we'll cover
- Where your business actually stands. How to read what you already have, and what it’s telling you that you’re not hearing.
- The decisions your numbers should be driving. Hiring, pricing, and what to take on next, made from evidence instead of instinct.
- How to get from where you are to ready. What the work involves, how long it takes, and what it asks of you.
You’ll leave with the question you walked in with, reframed.
Who should come
This is for owners building something meant to grow beyond what they can personally execute.
If you’re running a business you’re happy holding at its current size, this isn’t for you, and that’s a legitimate choice. Growth of that kind doesn’t need what we’re going to talk about.
But if you’re trying to grow and the only financial input you have is someone telling you what already happened, you’re going to keep hitting the same wall.
What Decern™ is
Decern™ is our method for building a clear picture of a business and learning to read it.
It’s the second job nobody sold you. The one that takes the numbers you already have and turns them into decisions.
We’ll introduce it properly during the session, along with the pilot program we’re opening to a small group this year.
The Honest Part
We don't have a magic wand.
We're not going to tell you that in ninety days your business is transformed. It takes time, it takes resources, it takes effort, and it takes you alongside us.
That's true of the pilot, and it's worth knowing before you'rer deciding about it.
It isn't true of the session. Come to the session either way.
What comes after readiness?
Decern™ is where you learn to read your numbers. OC Academy is where you build the habits to act on them, six months, small cohort, real accountability.
Your books are balanced. The next decision is still yours to make.
Come find out what you’re missing.
